What we do

Two things, and we are clear about which one we have a track record in.

ICT labour hire

This is the bulk of our work. A department needs a specialist for six or twelve months; we find someone who can actually do it, put them forward properly, and stay involved once they start.

We work through the BuyICT marketplace on the DMP2 ICT Labour Hire panel, which is how most Commonwealth ICT contracting is bought. The roles we see there run across:

  • Software engineering and development
  • Cloud engineering and architecture
  • Infrastructure and platform operations
  • Systems integration and administration
  • Cyber security, assessment and assurance
  • Networks and gateway operations
  • Testing, from manual through to automation
  • Project management, BA and documentation

Clearance requirements vary by role and are always stated on the listing. Some departments will sponsor an upgrade; many will not, and we will tell you which you are looking at before you spend time on it.

Deliverables-based engagements

We also take on defined pieces of work — scoped, priced and delivered against a statement of work rather than a timesheet.

To be straight with you: labour hire is what we have delivered to date. The capability is real and the people are the same ones we place, but if you want a reference for a fixed-price delivery we have not done one yet. If that matters for your procurement, better you know now.

How we work

We are deliberately small. That means we take on fewer roles than a large agency and we are slower to say yes, but the person reading your CV is the person talking to the department about it, and nothing gets lost being handed between account managers.
